Ballyvolane House

My husband and I recently got married at Ballyvolane House. We had short 5 month timeline in which to plan our wedding, and the first and only venue we visited and considered was Ballyvolane. It was an easy choice! We wanted a small, intimate wedding and the setting was perfect - a stunning country house nestled amongst lush countryside. We met the owners Jenny and her husband Justin on Day 1. We then worked with Jenny and Grace throughout the planning process. Everything was seamless and they made our tight timeline easier with suggestions for solemnisers, local bus hire and accomodation. The staff at Ballyvolane are also exceptional. Jenny is a pro at what she does, I cannot recommend her highly enough! She was amazing on the day - she really kept things moving to schedule in a non-invasive way. We also have to give special shout outs to Grace, Justin, Bernie, Toby and Lillian and the staff members we didn't meet but were there to make sure our day went smooth. You all made our stay so memorable - thank you! We truly appreciate it. The house itself is an eclectic country experience with the finest of fine dining! The food and drinks were 5-Star with food grown in their gardens combined with the best of local produce. And don't forget, they make their own gin! The wedding dining area and snug bar with the discoball dancefloor created a lovely intimate feeling. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that the venue was just ours for the weekend!
